First Officer William T. Riker (Jonathan Frakes). In charge of away teams of the USS Enterprise, great poker player, likes to play the trombone. |

Lieutenant Commander Data (Brent Spiner). Android witha positronic brain. Third in the chain of command after Picard and Riker. In contrast to Spock, who wanted to repress his humanity, Data longs to be more human. |

Doctor Beverly Crusher (Gates MacFadden). In charge of health and medical procedures on the USS Enterprise. Her husband died under Picard's command before meeting again on the Enterprise. |

Lieutenant Worf (Michael Dorn). Born klingon, raised by humans, responsible for tactical and security on the USS Enterprise. Heir to the house of Mogh, an honored house in the klingon empire. His father was accused unfairly of betraying the empire. |

Councellor Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis). From the planet Betazed, has empathic powers. Advices Picard in dealing with other races and councels the crew of the USS Enterprise. |

Lieutenant Geordi LaForge (LeVar Burton). Starting as the USS Enterprise helmsman, he is now Chief Engineer. His VISOR allows him to function normally, since he is blind. |
