As you can see, we´re a small club, but what we lack in numbers, we make up in enthusiasm.
It all started two and a half years ago, when someone who collected Star Trek cards came to the conclusion that if he never could find the cards he was missing, it was because someone else was buying them.
After this breakthrough, it also occurred to him to put a message to establish contact with this rival. What resulted of this was that some people answered the call, and from there the club was born.
From those early beginnings, we have already taken part in many activities :
- Conference program to promote science fiction (also to promote the release of Star Trek - First Contact), in various colleges. Among them the UNAM, Tec de Monterrey and Ibero.
- Various radio talk show interviews
- Helping events related to the release of Star Trek - First Contact
- Star Trek / Star Wars debate in Science Fiction Convention MECyF '95
- Star Trek Conference in MECyF '97
The club gets together every two weeks to watch the most recent shows, talk, gossip and generally have a good time. We have most of the episodes for the four main series (with the animated series coming soon), and all the movies (with the exception of Star Trek - First Contact).
